After the morning rice I have been having with Willow courtesy of family mart, we headed again to Koto City area by train to Daiba station. There's a festival on for a few days this time of year called
"Dream Yosacoy Festival" It seems like there's groups of dancers that take turns performing for a few minutes each. Each one has different costumes and music styles so it's a blend of contemporary and new. It was pretty cool to see and a nice cultural experience. The bridge we were on was shaking a bit, not sure if this was normal from the trains going overhead or the dancers or just a regular earthquake.

Tipici della Family Mart. |
After we got some fried chicken from a street stall which Willow has been loving also I don't mind a bit of fried chicken either. I got a beer poured from a can with a device that creates head for a perfect Japanese style pour.

Japanese have technology for everything. |
We went up the Fuji TV building because it was right next door and it looked like a mini death star.

Not sure what the deal was with blue snoopy but Willow liked him. |
Tepanyaki was for lunch at Ginza on the way home for some R&R and didn't emerge until dinner where we went to local Roppongi main street. The dinner was awesome, hopefully we can get back there. They had a lot of enoki mushrooms in the meals.

Once Willow and I had completed the ritual of getting coffee and morning rice we collected Heidi and went to Daikanyama. There's a street called "Log Road" which is a re-purposed railway. We went to a cafe at the end for second breakfast. Willow was pretty excited about getting a chocolate cake so early in the day. After that we noticed there was a craft brewery at the start of the street so we stopped in there for a cleansing ale.

"I can't believe I'm getting cake this early!" |
Afterwards we walked to Harajuku park, but missed most of the costume dressups on Sunday. We saw a few crazy outfits getting about but no where near as many as last time.

Rockabillies were back but not as many as last time |
